5 out of 5 stars A relaxing treat for baby and parents.   June 18, 2010

I recommend this to any parents who have a baby who refuses to settle themselves. My baby was very reliant on being rocked in my arms which became very tiring, this product helps relieve that as you can use the chair to do the holding and rock it with your hands taking the pressure off your arms and shoulders. An addition is that the vibrations soothe a crying baby. As my baby has gotten older she has learnt how to rock it herself and is loving babbling to herself in the mirror on the play bar.

2 out of 5 stars Great chair - loud vibrations   June 6, 2010
Karen Henderson (UK)
This is a great chair, we love it so much we have bought a second one. The first chair we bought is slightly older and our first child loved it, the new chair we have bought is the same except the vibrating unit is loose and vibrates off the wooden underside of the seat causing a very loud noise, so loud it wakes the baby and we can't hear the TV!

We bought this before our baby was born and are now out of the amazon returns period, we will speak to Fisher Price to see if they can remedy the situation.

4 out of 5 stars good   May 28, 2010

Purchased two of these and they were great , eventhough safety was an issue once the baby starts to sit alone and lean forward. The one I had did not have the plastic cover over the bar. Overall great

Warning: Very unsafe product -Fisher-Price Link-a-Doos Rocker

I got this seat for my 1 year old as he grew out of his baby bouncer and I thought that this seat would be good as it is one of the only seats that are for toddlers. I would like to warn all parents not to buy this seat- how it passed safety testing I do not know. My child almost broke his neck when he rocked it backwards and it tipped putting him onto his back and jammed his head between the collapsed seat and the sofa (that was with the break on!). He has also tipped it onto its side and wriggled out of it. This was all under supervsion and happens in seconds. I am glad I didnt have it when he was younger as he would have been very seriously injured. As a result I have only used it about 3 times and have sent it to the dump.

Please do not buy this product! For the love of your child - do not buy- I couldnt put this more strongly!
