5 out of 5 stars Inspiring, a must-read!   September 7, 2010

Most people were forced to read this book at school. I am fortunate that I was not! I think this would have taken away some of the pleasure I had in reading it. I was enthralled, could not put it down and, as a result, read it in a few days - in bed, at work, etc! I was totally gutted when I finished it as I felt like I knew the characters and actually MISS them, especially Atticus. I'm dying to know what happened next! I would urge anyone to read it, it's definitely changed my life.

Ordering was easy, I received emails acknowledging my purchase with details of when it would be delivered. It arrived on time, the packaging was excellent and the book was undamaged in transit. It is a very good book and I enjoy reading it when I have some spare time, sat in a comfy chair with a nice cup of coffee.

5 out of 5 stars My favourite novel   September 4, 2010

Its great to have a special 50th anniversary edition of this classic novel. The language and discriptions will have you inhabiting the Old South, while the story told through the eyes of a young girl, will have you riveted to the end. It's a must read for everyone and better still if read aloud with someone to share it. Enjoy!

5 out of 5 stars Super purchase   August 30, 2010

Saw this in Waterstones but decided to wait until I could check with Amazon. A brand new 50th edition at a quarter of the price for a real classic. What could be better
Thanks

5 out of 5 stars A joy to read!   August 30, 2010

I read this many years ago, & decided that I must read it again; my original copy is lost (or given away?) so that I bought another copy from Amazon. This time around it was even a better experience. A joy to read!
