Have been looking for some time for a single reel B&D strimmer, this one is just what I was looking for. Its simple to use and although I only have a small garden does the job perfectly. As previous reviews have mentioned it is a little on the heavy side, but the functions are great.

Purchased this for a family member who has a bad back, and they found that the automatic line feed was fabulous - saving them the time of re-loading the line every few meters when it usually broke - which means their strimming was over in less time!

Cheap, plenty of power. Cord has broken a few times. Easy to fix. My old Black & Decker used to break cords as well, also the motor burnt out for no apparent reason. I hope this one lasts longer. Early days yet, no really big issues so far.

Black & Decker GL301 Strimmer 300 Watt Reflex Rubbish. Reflex does not work. Waste of time and money. Would not recommend.
