I honestly can't fault this laptop. I bought it for my daughter who needed a reliable computer for starting GCSE's and we had read really good reviews about this laptop. I am no techno whizz but this was incredibly easy to set up and use. I would wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone!

I am so happy with my choice of laptop, I have been looking for ages for one which would suit my needs, and this one meets them all. Plus the wide screen makes watching DVDs great viewing. Can't say I have found any downsides to this product, would be very happy to recommend it to anyone.

The laptop arrived ahead of schedule to our delight.
It was purchsed for my daughters for schoolwork & play, so had to be affordable.
It is great value for money for the spec.
Having said that I haven't had a look in yet!

I checked out a number of machines before buying this laptop. In terms of features, it certainly seemed to be well ahead of the competition at this price level. And certainly I am not disappointed in it, although it has taken me a while to get used both to using a laptop and to using Windows 7 - the jury's out on 7, as far as I am concerned: maybe I'll settle to it in time.
Plus points for the laptop would include - as indicated above - the level of features that you get for the price; and the display, which has attracted positive comments from other people. Minus points would have to include what appears to be an over-sensitive keyboard, which can be a little irritating, and rather indifferent sound quality.
The styling, if that weighs in the balance for you, is excellent and the size and weight make it eminently portable. In operation, it is as quick as you would wish -it does not keep you waiting around.
I bought this laptop as a back up computer. I suspect that, if I had intended to use it as my main computer, I might be expecting too much of it. But for occasional use, I doubt that you will find better at this sort of price.

We live in the bowels of rural France and need accurate reviews and speedy service for books and much else. Amazon can be relied upon for safe packaging, rapid response, quick, economical posting and helpful reviews.And the Samsung? I am so lo-tech as to be below ground so I needed an idiot-proof laptop. This seems to be it: unpacked, changed the plug to a sensible French one and switched on. Perfecto. What more do you want for the money? William.
