Form over function February 2, 2010 A. Wright 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
A nice chunky little phone but every operation (calls, texting) seems to require more keystrokes than you would expect, sorry but not very user friendly Samsung, more work required! Replaced with a Nokia 1661 on Orange that does the job much better.
Orange phone January 11, 2010 David J. Porteous Good basic phone just what i wanted instead of those complicated smart phones, just right for keeping in the car
Thank you very much
Value for money August 16, 2009 Mr. Harold Foxcroft Item promised implicity of use and compactness. Delivery was very prompt and efficient.
Handbook was not very good - although Speakerphone was mentioned in the spec. I had to e-mail a query to find out how to turn it on (press OK during a call.)
Good basic phone July 8, 2009 Mr. E. Rhind-Tutt 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
Well, despite its relative cheapness and lack of features, this is the only phone that I have ever owned that has done exactly what was required of it. Absolutely everything worked, the battery life was good, the keypad was comfortable, and call quality was good. People out there looking for a good-quality, cheap phone, buy an SGH-C300. You won't regret it!
Not much good for texting May 22, 2009 J. Brazier (Birmingham, UK) 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
At least five keypresses are needed to read an incoming text. The instructions are terse: just one sheet of paper. To get the £10 credit I had to get back to the supplier for a voucher, and then make a long convoluted phone call to someone who was very polite but whose thick accent was barely intelligible. Charging is quick but the charger plug has to be pushed in very hard and wiggled around to get it to start charging. On the plus side it is light and sturdy and holds its charge well.
