I've used Kasperksy for years now and in my opinion it's the best on the market. This latest incarnation keeps up the high standards set by the earlier versions. Streamlined interface, very low use of system resources, consistently reliable detection of viruses, and rapid updates. With Kaspersky AV I have never needed to buy a separate anti-spyware programme, as it is so comprehensive. Great product.

I still consider this as the best antivirus software in a pc. Having a pc running at 64bits this is the first antivirus that i installed and run to it and it never lets me down. i been using this for both 64 and 32 bits without having any problem and continiously receiving an update that never slows the pc and wont consume a lot of hard disc space considering the performance and stability of this product.

Very little do add to other very positive views about this product. I'm new to Kaspersky, and little background search only reaffirmed excellency of this software. Again, this only anti-virus package, for further protection and features, you would need Internet Security package.
It works like a treat, easy to use and straight forward. Its given me a piece of mind knowing that if any virus latches onto my system, it will find it and get rid of it. I especially like the 'computer tune-up' feature, a very handy extra. And, my personal favourite feature, the installation disc comes in DVD box (not just a paper sleeve in a big empty box) so in case I need to re-install it ever again, or use it on a different computer, the disc will stay properly protected and it will be easy to find on my shelf.

Confession time,between us, our family are running this product, Internet Security 2011 Kaspersky Internet Security 2011, 3 PC, 1 Year Subscription (PC) and 'Pure' Kaspersky Pure, (inc. Internet Security, Parental Control and Data Back Up), 3 User, 1 Year license (PC) and are already very impressed with the other Kaspersky products.
Anti Virus 2011 is the most basic level of cover afforded by Kaspersky and omits functions of Internet Security 2011 such as firewall,safe run mode,advanced parental control and advanced anti spam/anti banner protection.
It is however still a very powerful tool and runs quietly in the background on our 2-3 year old 4GB RAM Windows 7 machines. Slight pause on start up is not of significance and the interface, should you have the urge to amend settings, is easy to navigate.It is of course perfectly capable of working straight from the box and will happily self update.
If anti-virus is all you need, I would recommend this without hesitation. If you would be happier with a more comprehensive 'one stop shop' protection suite, then I would suggest looking at Internet Security Suite 2011. Another winner from Kaspersky!
