Most reviews you will read regard this TV as close to best in class and for the price (£746 - warehouse deals uk) I paid, I must agree. Whilst 3D is a main feature, the internet is particularly welcome and connectivity to a Samsung smartphone actually works very well. With the right set up (forums can give you that), I am more than happy with a high quality picture and when using a sound system, I really don't care about the only other weakness I can see - slight lag when playing fast XBox games. All in all, buy this before forking out another several hundred pounds and use Samsung connect for a free pair o' specs.

I also had a problem like the reviewer Fausto with this LCD TV.I have had two of these and both had backlight problems;about a quarter of the way down the screen there was a white line about three inches wide across the whole screen,also at the bottom of the screen there was another. The lines were clearly visible when the screen was a certain colour,a problem here was when the camera panned up and down the image on the screen went through the lines and again you could clearly see these and the image distorted slightly. This was a real shame because you can see this would be a fantastic TV;hope no one else has this problem.

The picture and sound quality is brilliant and with the Motion+ the picture is so much smoother at 200Hz that the image seems ULTRA realistic. I use Sky+ HD and the HD channels are crystal clear with no "lag" at all!!! I haven't tried the internet function on the TV yet but I am of the opinion that this feature should be VERY useful... A PAIR OF 3D GLASSES "DO" COME WITH THE TV AND YOU CAN ORDER A 2ND PAIR THROUGH SAMSUNG CONNECT... THE BLU-RAY PLAYER IS GOOD - BUT MINE HAD A MASSIVE CRACK DOWN THE FRONT SO I AM WAITING FOR THIS TO BE REPLACED... 5/5 - WELL DONE SAMSUNG!!! :-)

2D picture is very good - not quite as good as my Samsung Series 7 LED TV but that is to be expected.
Coupled with the free (until 30 Sept) BD-5900 player and the supplied 3D glasses, it makes for compulsive 3D viewing.
The player also supports USB media and will render the content into 3D dynamically.
HD Finding Nemo looks just amazing - if this is what native 2D content looks like in 3D, I cannot wait to see what a native 3D BluRay looks like (will be getting Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs 3D this weekend).
Very impressive - 5 out of 5.

I was sceptical about this set, not any more. 3D is AMAZING. There is a small amount of ghosting but nothing anywhere near off putting ! HD quality is fantastic too. No regrets. Come on studios, put out more 3D bluray content !!
