Product Description
The rabbids have had enough of losing to Rayman, but going home may cause more mayhem than staying. You see, they've decided that the best way to leave Earth is to build a tower of rubbish all the way to the moon (not that they're certain that's where they came from). - Playing as the maniacal rabbit creatures you tour each level in a shopping trolley collecting anything that's not tied down and a lot that isn't: from a chest of drawers to a runaway cow. Many items give you special abilities, like a skyscraper chase in a giant bubble and an aircraft jet engine that lets you suck up even more objects.
- With the rabbids' trademark humour still intact (your basic attack scares the clothes off humans, which you can then collect as well) and some of the best cartoon style graphics on the Wii this is a clever evolution from the old mini-game collections.
Key Features - The rabbids have landed: The rabbids return in their first all action comedy adventure, with a very peculiar mission to the moon.
- Detritus Rex: Terrorise the population and nab objects for your collection - then deliver them to your unlikely space tower.
- Alternative transport: Catch a ride on a jet engine or inside a giant bubble as weird new objects offer up exciting mini-game missions.
- Steal 'n' go: Simple controls mean anyone can play, just jump aboard the shopping trolley and start terrorising the populace in true rabbid style.
- Race relations: Crazy cartoon style graphics look great on the Wii, with huge levels filled with thing to smash and grab.
- About the Developer: Ubisoft Montpellier
- Home to both Rayman and superstar producer Michel Ancel, this French studio has also been responsible for such classics as Beyond Good & Evil, King Kong and the original Rayman Raving Rabbids . It's also working on an adaption of the new Tintin movie from
Amazon.co.uk Review The rabbids have had enough of losing to Rayman, but going home may cause more mayhem than staying. You see, they've decided that the best way to leave Earth is to build a tower of rubbish all the way to the moon (not that they're certain that's where they came from). Shopping trolleys aren't the usual vehicle of choice for video game heroes | The rabbids want to get home and no one's stopping them | There are still plenty of mini-games to play, including races, puzzles and more | Stealing a jet engine causes as much havoc as you'd think | Playing as the maniacal rabbit creatures you tour each level in a shopping trolley collecting anything that's not tied down and a lot that isn't: from a chest of drawers to a runaway cow. entretenido July 5, 2010 vultur es un plataformas al fin y al cabo. que cada vez se complica un poco mas. esta bien para pasar el rato.
Fantastic!! June 7, 2010 Mrs. Deborah Bowen Great fun, very funny game - takes a while to complete so good value for money
Shopping Trolley Racing Fun! May 12, 2010 S. Lake If you're looking for a game with any level of seriousness simulation, then this probably isn't for you.
The Rabbids from the Rayman games are back. And this time they want to go to the moon.
Race your shopping trolley around the city, collecting stuff and shouting "BWAAAAH!" a lot. The control system is really straightforward, and the more you play the more you find to collect and do. It's a collect-em-up-platformer-race-puzzle game (!!)
The main game is slightly repetitive, but really good fun. The cut-scenes are well done, the music is fab (and will get stuck in your brain for days) and the extra sub-games are hilarious.
It's almost worth the money for the "In the Wiimote" section alone, where a Rabbid gets hoovered up into the Wiimote so you can customise him and basically chuck him around.
Good fun while it lasts March 10, 2010 D. T. E. Gosnell Good fun while it lasts, but really not enough to keep the interest once the story is complete compared with say Super Mario Galaxy or Lego Star Wars.
Plus points:
Madcap and often politically incorrect play
Funny cut scenes, voice-overs etc (though do wear a little thin after a while)
Quite compulsive for trying to get best score (generally out of 1000) on each level
Minus points:
A bit repetitive
Not enough challenge as the levels progress (just more of the same baddies, really)
Once the story is complete, that seems to be it - i.e. no bonus features of any great value
Two-player mode unresponsive but nevertheless makes it too easy
Ok if played with the mute switched on. March 5, 2010 Susie 1 out of 3 found this review helpful
The game is ok but disappointed that it was not along the same lines as
the TV game. This is only really for one player. So we can not enjoy this as a family. The noises can be annoying after a while so best played in mute.
