2 out of 5 stars Disappointed   August 26, 2010

Having already bought Professor Layton's Curious Village and Pandorra's Box, this was a real disappointment.

2 out of 5 stars Only took three hours to complete! Storyline far too short!   August 10, 2010

I finished the whole game in about three hours! Trying to click on items in scenes proved to be quite tricky at times, the actual storyline did not last long enough to get to know any of the characters and the puzzles were sometimes difficult to understand but easily solved by a few random clicks. Because of this the overall game was a bit dull and one-dimensional. I would strongly advise you to spend your money on something else!

3 out of 5 stars Not what I expected...   August 9, 2010

Having played several other games from Avanquest (GSP?), I was expecting this to be more of a hidden object game, in the same mode as Mystery Stories and Jewel Quest Mysteries. There are hidden object elements to the game, but the main gameplay is made up of collecting objects and using them for tasks later in the game, much more in-keeping with the good old fashioned adventure games. It's quite enjoyable, frustratingly hard at times, and I've been playing it for over three hours now (with the help of some online hints, I have to admit! :o), and still have a fair way to go. I would have stretched to four stars if some of the tasks had been more straightforward, but in all, I think 3 stars is a fair score for a fair game.

4 out of 5 stars Good, fun game   August 4, 2010

Was worried this would be a little too easy, but it was actually pretty challenging in some parts!
That said, it wasn't too difficult so as to want to give up.

Liked the hint when you press the Select button, definitely saves time rather than trying to look up a walkthrough online if you get really stuck.

The graphics were good and it was fun overall.

1 out of 5 stars If you only have 5 minutes to spare get this game   August 3, 2010

5 minutes is all you'll need to complete this game - its not worth the money!! The puzzles are not at all challenging and it seriously only takes a few hours to complete. The game just ends really abruptly and game play is poor - give it a miss and buy an Ace Attorney game instead!!
